Located in Hammond, Indiana, Moran Design is a graphics design, marketing and public relations agency with a 25+ year history. When the agency's owner, Jan Moran, designed a new look for their website, she commissioned VIA to create the database backend and build the data-driven site. The result is an ever changing portfolio of work with three levels of detail and an easy to use content management system that helps Jan keep the site fresh and up-to-date.
Content Management System
Having been in business for so long, Jan has literally thousands of samples she could show a potential client. Her challenge to VIA was to build a management system so simple that she could login and update her portfolio items while still on the phone with a potential client in order to immediately direct the client to view samples relevant to their project.
The CMS we built for Moran Design enables them to:
- update the names of the main categories (to highlight different products);
- add, delete, rearrange the subgroups under each main category;
- add, delete, rearrange the images and project briefs within each subgroup;
- update the text and images on the About Us, Services, and Contact pages.
